I ordered this messenger bag for my daughter for christmas and she couldnt wait to use it for school. But when she tried to fit in her folder, iit wouldnt fit! The bag is very nice-looking but way too small. Even the front compartment is too small. You can barely even fit 1 book.

Big Disappointment!! While very cute, it is too small for anything other than a purse. I'm not even able to fit a folder without bending it, let alone a lunch box. Very unpractical for school and I'm not one to complain! Please spare yourself the disappointment and don't buy!

My Daughter is in first grade,this is not practical when carrying a lunch box,it hs a very small opening.This would be better suited for a teen with a SMALL laptop possibly.

Please note the size of this bag. With the way the zipper is inset, it does not allow a very wide opening. It will not fit a binder through the opening on its side, but it will fit a 1/2" binder vertically. I was disappointed with the size, since my girls like to put their lunch box inside their bookbag at times, but it is very cute and it was already monogrammed, so oh well....

Not as cute as it looks online and seems VERY cheaply made. Perfect size for very young girls that do not need a bulky school bag. Also the monogramming color does not match. My daughter was disappointed, but at the price we'll buy her another when this wears out.

Daughter loves this cute lil bag to carry many odds & ends to work on a daily basis. I've even threw it in the washer on the delicate cycle and hung to dry! perfect for us with no complaints.. I came back to order one for myself to travel with on the airline because of all the new limitations THIS WAS EXCELLENT!
I realize this is made for kids but I love it for the use I got out of it.. held up well, cell,drink bottle,books, even a few extras... However I would never give this to a school age child to carry books on a daily basis because I don't feel its made well enough for that nor large enough. hope this helps all interested.

This bag was purchased for my Kindergartener and I will have to purchase a new bag for her very soon. It has started to crack. I purchased the 'boy' version last spring for my son and with in one month the comapny had to replace it. I love the style but the top zipper need to be about 2-3 inches longer to accomidate folders with out having to crease them in the middle.

I bought this for my 4th grader and all she brings home are papers and sometimes a book. This bag only lasted about 1 1/2 months before it ripped on the inside and the bucket started to rip off. It was not built very well.

I bought this bag with the matching notebook, only to find out.....that the notebook was too bulky and wide to fit inside the messenger bag. Also, after a week of using the bag, my daughter complained because there was NO PADDING on the shoulder strap. Thus, it caused her tooooo much pain to continue use of it.

This is a cute messenger bag and the personalization is embroidered. It's lightweight, and it's not roomy enough for the large 3" binders. It is fine for the lower elementary grades - they are usually not toting that kind of stuff yet! My daughter loves it. I like the fact that it has a zipper closure and the buckles, which helps insure that everything stays in! I felt good about the purchase - it is well priced too!

My daughter has a hard time getting the mathcing lunch box in and out of this and also the 1in 3 ring binder she needs for 2nd grade does not fit, I have to have it standing up and therefore cant zip it.

Also she is kind of short so I have to have the shoulder strap pretty small and then the padded part wont go over the plastic part so she cant use the shoulder strap.

My daughter really wanted this for third grade. So I got it and the matching binder, lunch box, pencil case, etc. However, it won't fit the binder! Never mind the binder and a couple of text books. I can't get the binder in even sideways.

I bought almost the whole pink leopard set and thus far am very pleased with the appearence. Although I bought the binder as well and it does not fit inside this bag. BUMMER! Not going to make my DD carry it seperate. She can't wait to start school with her new stylish set!

My daughter loves her bag. This is her second one. She used her other one for two years and wanted a new color to start 2nd grade! She loves her messenger bag more than a back pack and says it does not hurt her back to use it everyday!

I was very excited about the bag when I ordered it for my 5yr old. I thought it would be a good Kindergarten bag...not too heavy and bulky but also stylish and already had her name on it. My main complaint would be that it did not hold up well. The buckles came off and the water bottle pocket is not quite tall enough. You usually lose whatever you put in there.
