Comments about Lillian Vernon Crinkle Nylon Binder:

I really like it since it zips close to keep everything inside. I am a scout leader and originally bought three for my assistants and myself. I have made two additional purchases since my first one for other leaders. If getting them to Mexico was no so difficult (Finding someone to bring them) we would buy more. All the leaders love them. Mine is over a year old, and just now one of the letters is coming off. We love our names on it, so I am going to put glue over it to see if it holds..It is big, but that means it holds more. Most binders cannot hold all I need to get in there, and the rings give out. This one does not. I do reccomend it.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Crinkle Nylon Binder:

I had my daughter's name embossed on the front of the binder. It came in navy blue, when the binder was pink and green. And the navy blue print was somehow smeared on the cover.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Crinkle Nylon Binder:

This is a very cute binder that I bought for my 4th grader. Cheaper than the 5-Star brands in the store, but personalized and very cute. The only con I have is that it doesn't hold a standard sized folder. But it has nice pouches on the inside for holding all of the extras. Very nice and cute.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Crinkle Nylon Binder:

I purchased this for my 5th grade aged daughter whose school requires the students to have a zippered folder to hold 3-hole-punched paper and folders. The paper fit fine, but the folders were too large to fit when zipped (without crushing the edges).

The spot around where the name is imprinted also is funny looking - I'm assuming it's attached via a heated method, but a whole large area around the name looks noticeably different than the rest of the crinkly fabric covering. (Another review mentioned the name "falling off" - I can only imagine they changed the design, because this wasn't "attached" like glued, it's imprinted onto the fabric.)

Finally, the cover is essentially a very thin layer of plastic with the cover over it - it isn't very sturdy feeling.

The organizer inside was nice.

She's going to use this for Girl Scout paperwork, since she really likes how the binder looks, but it won't stand up to regular school use.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Crinkle Nylon Binder:

This is a great looking product, but it looked really cheap when we got it, compared to the quality of binders in the store for a cheaper price. My three girls loved theirs though and the only complaint is it being so big and not fitting in their backpacks puts it at great risk or getting damaged since it appears to be cheaply made.

I bought the binder to go with the "crinkle nylon messenger bag" but it does not fit inside the messenger bag. Seems to me that if you were selling them together, they should accommodate one another.

Quality not so good
By momof3Verified Reviewer from Twin Cities, MN on 7/11/2007
Cons:
Low Quality
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Crinkle Nylon Binder:

My son used this for school last year and within 2 weeks the personalized name had fallen off. The orginizer itself did last the school year but was very flimsy and could use more pockets/dividing areas. We could have gotten a better value at stores in our area for the same or less price.
