These leather bookmarks have stitched-in lead weights on both ends to keep your book open as you read, while the suede bottom grips the pages so you won't lose your place! They're also lightweight to prevent damaging the spine. Custom stamped with up to 3 silver (black, red) or gold initials (camel). 8 1/2" x 2".

As the librarian in a medium-size library, I ordered one of these for every workstation. Everyone loves them--in fact, I just logged on to buy some as gifts for the volunteers as they said they'd like them for use at home too. But, "Out of Stock" for now. I trust there will be more in the future. We use the RED ones so they don't get lost in the shuffle. We have one brown one and it blends in with the furniture; so red is best for us. They keep each book open as we catalog and process it. These are sometimes expensive books, and the weights are gentle on them. The weights are used constantly and show no signs of wear. The BEST!

This is a good deal. I saw this for much more at another site. I thought perhaps I wouldn't like it once I got it, but it's fine. A real bargain. I got the red one.

I ordered two of these for Christmas gifts, with monogrammed initials. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and the substantial weight of these book weights. These are perfect for office use, especially if you do a lot of research or reading of cases and need a heavy book weight to mark your place. They look very classy. I HIGHLY recommend them. I'm ordering some more to keep around as gifts.

I've been wanting one of these for a while, and I'm glad I finally just bought it. This is nice to hold the book open while eating, or cookbooks while cooking - no messy fingerprints on the pages. Such a simple thing, but it really comes in handy.
