I had purchased this watch as an extra gift for a friend [...] My friend loved the watch's appearance, but it did not work. I took it to a jeweler to see if it needed a new battery. The jeweler opened it up and found it was rusted on the interior right where the battery was. She tried putting in a new battery and it still did not work. So, she returned it to me saying it was irreparable......very,very disappointed.
