One of the selling points is that you can charge a cell phone but the required cable is not provided nor is there any information on how to obtain one (part number, etc.). Did a search on Google but no luck;[@] no help either.

this would be a fantastic radio except for the fact that the directions don't give you any idea how to shut the alarm off--it goes off every hour without fail. the alarm symbol is always showing.

I purchased the product mainly for cell phone charging as a backup. The description reads 'Crank it 90 seconds, get 25 minutes of AM/FM radio with digital alarm clock, flashlight, cell phone recharge, siren...' leading you to believe that you will get 25 minutes of cell phone charging, when in actuality you will only charge the phone for 1-3 minutes of usage. The 25 minutes applies to the radio usage. If you want it for radio or siren, then it is easy to use.

This is a great thing to have handy in case of emergency, power outage,and during storms. Small enough to not be in the way, but big enough to do it's job. Has a bright light, with only minimal cranking, anyone can use it. Could be so valuable in an emergency! Get one for the car as well as your home.
