Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

I purchased two of these for my Grandsons who will be starting school and preschool in the fall. They LOVED them and loved the space design! Although it's not very cushy or "nicely plumped" as stated in the description it is great to lay on, and it didn't really seem to matter to my 2 grandsons! They lay on theirs to watch Television or sometimes just use to play "astronauts"!As for the personalization, I didn't have mine personalized because of the reviews. I personally like the attached pillow also. I also like the fact that it rolls up nicely and compact for easy storing! All in all I would recommend this product! For the price you can't go wrong!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

I bought this for my son to use at daycare. It is a thin mat, like a blanket, but comes with a little pillow attached. The personalization is felt letters glued to the strap that holds the rolled-up mat together. It faded quite a bit after the first wash, but hasn't faded any more after that. It's a nice nap mat.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

My son's preschool required a sheet and pillow to cover their nap pads at school. When I found this nap mat.. it was a perfect alternative. The pillow is attached, it can be personalized, it is not big like a sleeping bag and it is my son's favorite theme (space/planets). Since they are putting it on top of a nap pad, it is very comfy for my son. The only thing I would like more is if the material was a little softer. I washed it several times with fabric softener but have not softened it up yet. Regardless, my son loves it to say the least.

Needed a nap mat for my son at pre-school. He really liked the design. Had one on order another place but backordered. This was my 2nd choice but he seems to like it. At school, they do put him on a gym mat then this.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

the minute i got it , i cut the pillow off. really this is just a blanket with a pillow attached. bought it for my son for nap time at school...still needs his nap mat and now he just uses this as a blanket. the pattern is cute. it is not a sleeping bag, that is for sure!! but it is cute. i liked that it could be personalized...just wish they weren't iron on letters..looks like i did it myself not professionally.

I have not washed it that many times yet, but can tell we will loose the personalization of my child's name because they are just stickers. Its a nice addition while it lasts!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

I would recommend it, but it could use some improvements. I love the designs and have gotten many compliments on my daughters old one (Butterfly/Flower theme). Now I am buying another one for my son (Space/Planet theme). I think that it could use more padding and an attached blanket. Or they could sell a matching blanket as another option. Just a thought.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

It is a good product for the price. My daughter needed a nap mat for preschool and she loved the design on this one. The mat is thinly padded. But is washed well and my daughter loves it – the most important things. My only con, and this is more of a pet peeve, is that it was personalized with all capital letters and we have a last name that begins with an Mc, not an MC.

Pros:
Easy to pack
Cons:
No Padding
Bottom Line:

Comments about Lillian Vernon Outer Space Nap Pad:

I would not recommend this mat to anyone. Although the mat is easy to pack, the so-called "padding" that was mentioned in the description is nonexistent. Unfortunately my son is so caught up in the space theme, that I can't pry it away from him though. In addition, the material is rough and scratchy. This product is no better than placing a sheet on the floor and napping on it.

This is a great nap mat for Children's Day Out. I leave it up at the church and they send it home periodically for washing. It washes well in our washing machine.
