Comments about Lillian Vernon Racecar Sleeping Bag:

This bag's cute design is greatly diminished by the scratchy thin poly-blend fabric that covers the flimsy fiberfill. My son does not enjoy it and the zipper is very aggravating to me. I wish they made soft plush sleeping bags like the one I had growing up.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Racecar Sleeping Bag:

This sleeping bag looks great in the photo and I was very disappointed when it arrived. The pieces were cut out poorly and sewn on with threads hanging everywhere (and visible under the sewn on pieces). The bag was so flat and scratchy that I cannot imagine any child liking sleeping in it. The description said "machine wash" but the bag I received said hand wash only and hang to dry. The bag arrived bunched up in a ball and was not even zipped up. It did not look like something Santa would bring and I returned it.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Racecar Sleeping Bag:

My oldest son got this as a gift at least 8 yrs. ago, when he outgrew it, it was passed on to his younger brother. Very cute design, durable fabric, washes well in lg. capacity machine. It is lightweight poly fill, like a childs comforter, so meant only for indoor use. Great for sleepovers at Grandma's or a friends house. Great design makes it more fun for a child to sleep in - can pretend your driving a car before it's time for sleeping. Folds up compactly - fits in a med. sz. shopping bag.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Racecar Sleeping Bag:

This sleeping bag is cute but the quality is not there. I was expecting a fluffy, warm, well made sleeping bag like I had as a kid. This material so so thin. There is no padding, stuffing or insulation. It is basically just a piece of quilted fabric. This is definately only an indoor sleeping bag and is basically a larger version of a toddler's nap mat.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Racecar Sleeping Bag:

I got this bag for my son 2 years ago. He still loves it! I've washed it twice (delicate cycle with low dryer) and it has held together well with no shrinking. If you are looking for a bag for camping, this is not your bag, but for overnights it is perfect - cute, fun, soft - and cheap! I am ordering them for my niece and nephew this Christmas!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Racecar Sleeping Bag:

This is an excellent child bag for the value. It is plush and came personalized [...]. It was a gift for a 3 yo, a huge success at the party and the envy of his brothers. He has not had it long enough to test the durability and the zipper but it appears sturdy and well made. I would not recommend this sleeping bag for outdoor tent conditions for it does not appear waterproof.
