Very attractive but the butterflies and flowers fell off within minutes of unpacking it! Can be glued back on but I suspect the re-attaching will need to take place often! Still very beautiful, though!

This is a very adorable light for that perfect touch to any little girls room. However, it needs to be put on top of a dresser a bit out of a little ones reach. It seems to be delicate and not intended for play. My 4 year old just loves it!

This lamp is cute but cheap. The flower and butterfly are placed so high up that it is hard to manuever your hand to switch the light on or off. It is just a wooden dowel and base painted white. Very disappointed, cost [$] but only worth 9.99 if that.

I bought this lamp for my daughter's room - it was very cute, but very cheaply made and I would NOT recommend for a child's room or use, because of safety concerns! The lamp is simply a wooden dowel painted white and screwed into a base - and not securely! The dowel was completely loose and wobbles and there is no way to tighten with out disassembling the lamp! I was very disappointed but found a SOLID wooden lamp the same size at a thrift store for less than $5 (less than what it would cost to return the original), painted it white and glued the butterflies and flowers on it instead (simply hot-glued on the original lamp anyway). I added the lovely pink shade and NOW I have a suitable and cute lamp for any little girl! Very disappointed with Lillian Vernon however.

This lamp is very pretty but as soon as I pulled it out of the box one of the flowers fell off the base. The other two followed shortly after. I have glued them back but one fell off again. The base is made of cardboard and seems very cheap. I don't think this lamp should have ever retailed for [$]. The shade is very pretty though.
