I bought this last August for my 7 year old many dance classes. This bag is impressive! Great compartments for shoes, snacks, and her schedule. It holds outfits for jazz, ballet, swim class, African dance AND her regular clothes to change into after classes. I love the fact that it is light-weight (even with all that stuff)and easy for her to carry. Great for sleepovers too. After so much use, the plastic lining is starting come a loose. (no biggie) Overall a great buy.

I gave this gift to my 4-year old niece for Christmas last year. My sister began using it, immediately, putting all the Christmas gifts received in it (nothing left behind). The intended use was for my niece's dancing classes, but this bag is so lightweight, durable, and roomy, my sister uses it daily to collect all my niece's belongings. They always know where to put and find things, especially when visiting other's homes. This bag has far exceeded its worth. I hit a grandslam with this bag. Not only for it's use, but also for eliminating a lot of frustration and time that follows with losing items. WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT !!!

My 4 year old uses this bag a 3 days a week to take things back and forth to preschool. We love how roomy and lightweight it is and the design looks great. Our only complaint is the interior lining is a great disappointment. Material is inferior and tore away from seams soon after purchasing it. I read this in other reviews and thought maybe it happened mostly by heavy use or misuse, but it did not take much. We don't like using it anymore because the lining is such a mess. Lillian Vernon should strongly consider upgrading the lining because the bag itself is great.

This is a beautiful bag and is great for girls who are a little older. I bought it for my 3 year old who just started her first dance class and it is definitely too big for her to carry on her own. I didn't do a good job of looking at the measurements prior to purchasing it! For anyone looking at this, I'd recommend going with the smaller Ballet Bag on this website for girls who are younger. That way they can carry it on their own and they really don't need that much room at this age anyway. I'll save the large one for later. Also, if you have more than one daughter who might use it at a later time, you might want to personalize with a last name! Just an idea to save money for later.

My 4 year old just loves her new dance bag. I love all the features including the separate shoe compartment and room for a water bottle/snack. A definate plus that her name is right on the outside. So cute!

Wonderful dance bag. I bought this for my 6 year old daughter. She takes jazz, tap and ballet, along with hip-hop and musical theater. We needed something with plenty of room and this bag has it. I'm able to fit her tap and hip-hop shoes in the bottom shoe section and put her ballet and jazz shoes along wtih her dance skirt and dance pants/gauchos in the main compartment, with plenty of room to spare. Love the mesh sides---great for a water bottle. Small zip pocket can hold hair ties, bobby pins, and other odds and ends. And love the free personalization. Totally worth the money.

I have to say I was NOT dissapointed! It was better than I had anticipated!
My daughter absolutley loves it. It has a ton of room for all her things for Ballet class but isn't to big for her to hold her self.

This bag was great for my daughter to use for all three of her dance classes. When it arrived I thought it was too big, but as we filled it up, it is just the right size for everything that is needed without everything being crowded. This bag will serve a great use over more than one year of dance classes.
