I ordered this for my daughter as she entered K. It literally came apart at the seams by the beginning of December. When I called Customer Service, the person I spoke to was rude and accused us of being too rowdy with it (it's for NAPTIME!!!). She told me that there was nothing that could be done. I spoke to a supervisor who was equally unhelpful. She kept me on hold for over 30 minutes before I gave up. The qulaity of products has gone down big time over the last few years, and now I'm done with Lillian Vernon.
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
I liked the price of this napper. The name is put on with velvety-like iron-ons. I like how it rolls up too. I got this napper for my 1yo son to use at daycare. Within 3wks the yellow ties came off. Didn't want to look around for another one, so I continued to use this one. After a year of use the yellow trim is starting to seperate from the rest of the napper. Guess it's lived it's life. I have a daughter now that will need a napper, but I won't buy this particular one again.
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
The nap pad is cute, it's nice that it's personalized and it rolls up well. It is definitely thin and the little pillow gets lumpy in the wash. My son naps on a cot, so the thinness wasn't really an issue.
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
Love this nap mat! Purchased it for my son when he was an infant so he could have a clean, soft place to play while on the floor. As he got older, he would lay on it on the floor while watching TV; occassionally falling asleep on it. For those of you who are unsure...it is NOT a foam pad like those you might see children resting on in day care centers...it's probably best when used ON TOP OF a classroom cot to keep things sanitary. You will still need a blanket if you want your child to be covered. It is EXACTLY as it is in the picture. Mine has been washed literally hundreds of times (my son is 5 now) and the velvety, iron-on letters are still perfectly adhered. Cannot complain on the quailty or price! Buying the leopard one for my daughter now. Good luck!
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
These nap mats are value for the money!! My kids use them for preschool daycare nap time and they have been through weekly washes with no issues. I provide a small quilt blanket that rolls right up inside and they have all they need for nap time. My only complaint which isn't really a big deal is that there aren't enough letter spaces to provide for first and last names which is key when in a daycare if you have a common name. My letters haven't had any problems.

This is a great product! I read other reviews that said it was flimsy and poor quality, but I don't know why. We've used it practically daily for 2 years' worth of naps at preschool and it's been washed 100+ times...still looks fine...not faded or worn at all. Other moms want to know where we found it.

I got this for my oldest daughter last year and she's still using it at MDO. I'm buying another for my youngest daughter. It has washed very well. We've taken it on trips & used it to create another "bed" when needed!! I highly recommend it =)

Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
i ordered this because it was affordable and everyone recomended this company however when i got the product it was just poor quality.! it is supposed to be a comfortable napping spot for small children and is not any thicker than a small blanket!the pillow is cute but the rest is just CHEAP!

Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
2 years ago, I bought 3 of these for my twins and baby girl who all started preschool. My kids love their mats and have begun to roll them up themselves after nap time [...], but it's easier to roll up. We use it as an overlay for their plastic folding nap mats in preschool. It makes napping comfortable and clean for them. The pillow got all bunchy, but I expected that after weekly washings in gentle cycle, with tumble low dry. Yes, I washed those mats 52 times a year maybe more, considering the accidents they had during their naps, and aside from the minor pilling, the mats are . I plan on cutting open the pillow at the seams and replacing the batting inside. The personalization is great! Although I was expecting embroidered letters, these are actually ironed-on felt letters. I wish the description would show that most of the personalizations here are iron-on felt letters instead of machine embroidery. However, they have withstood the weekly washings, and show no signs of peeling at all. The price hasn't changed over the years.I like the reversability of the mat, but my kids tend to stick to one color to nap on, so that's fine too. I just make sure the color they choose to sleep on is rolled up to the inside.I would buy this mat again in an instant.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
I bought this for my older son for preschool. It's in its second year of use now. Overall, I think it's a good rest mat. It's easy to roll up and rolls up to an easy to carry size. And I like the attached pillow. My only problem with it was that in washing it, the pillow stuffing got "mushed" up and won't ever go back to the smooth feel it had when we first bought it. Having said that, I'll still probably be buying this same one for my other son who will start school next year (I don't think the first one would last 4 years).
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
I bought the blue and red mat in 2003 when my first child started in a local MDO program at 19 months. This mat is now entering its 5th year in the same MDO program, but now with my 3rd child. The personalization is still on the mat(I just used our last name so the mat would work for each kid) and it has been washed many, many times. I highly recommend this mat. You will definitely get your $ worth

Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
This is great for preschool no need to break out the sharpie to write his name. No lost pillow hunts at school.Worked well on day when he was out sick from school but I couldn't miss work. He was able to rest and be with me.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
This nap mat. Is not really as the description describes it. It is very thin. No blanket. The personlization is just basically stick on letters. I haven't washed it yet so I will see how it holds up in the wash. If you are looking for a good nap mat this is not the one.
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
I got these mats for both of my kids and they are great. I can put a small blanket in with it and roll it all up together so it's ready for it's next use. [...] Overall, this is a great mat for church or school!
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
Cute nap mat, my son will love it for preschool. It's really soft and the pillow has just enough cushion. I appreciate the personalization but wonder if ultimately the letters are going to peel off, we will see. Overall, it will be perfect for his little rest each day.
Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
My son used this in preschool. Now I'm going to order another one for my daughter. So much cleaner than those plastic mats they normally sleep on. Comfy and a great price.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Reversible Nap Pad:
My daughter used this during Kindergarten. They nap on the floor and this gave her a soft place to lay and even a pillow to rest her head. She really enjoyed this mat and it was easy for her to carry to and from school. At the end of the week and just threw it in the washer & dryer.
I highly recommend it!
