I am a teacher and ordered this for obvious reasons. [...] upon observing my new purchase, discovered it was NOT personalized as I requested. Disheartening to say the least...but NOT going back. It would be February until I received a replacement...

I bought this for my husband for Christmas- he's a band teacher who conducts his band in the parades each year, and he was always borrowing a whistle from the Phys. Ed. teacher. He was deeply touched by this gift and highly recommends it. It is beautiful and sentimental, too.
