This item very easy to use. Love it. Had one before but the plastic cover was cracked and I had to replace same. this picks up the little pills on my covers of my sofa. But one thing I notice is that this uses 2 D batteris wich are heavy and the lid that covers same will not stay closed

I bought this product hoping to revive a few of my old "going out" shirts, and it worked great on a few, but some shirts were also destroyed and cut up by this mechanism. I think the holes on the grate are a bit too big - it catches the clothing and cuts right through.

This product seems to work best on non-cotton/soft material....stick with suits on this one.

This little device has saved us thousands of $s. My husband laughed at my "clothes shaver"; but, he has used it on his business suits, wool overcoat and sweaters, too. Clothing that I would have discarded in the past is now usable. You won't regret this purchase.

Makes older sweaters look new again by removing all the pilling. I purchased a smaller version of this product[...] about 8 years ago and it still works, just the blade is less sharp. I tried similar products from several other retailers, trying to replace my older one, and NONE came close to working the way this one does. It would be easier to travel with if it were smaller but I'll trade functionality for ease of packing any day.

Lightweight yet powerful. Gets the job done quickly. Mine likes to turn itself on however, freaked me out the first few times and then I figured out how to position the on/off switch in just the right spot to keep it off without having to pull the batteries.

Just be careful not to press too hard or you will put holes in your clothes. It is very powerful.
