I really love all the conpartments and the fact that it is a sturdy lightweight bag, however, the strap is so very short. I cannot put this bag across my body with a thin jacket on. I was really surprised by this! Because of that I will have to look for another bag.

Great travel bag. There is a place for everything with easy access. Zippered pockets inside the bag provide extra security for passports and money while traveling. Secure cross body design gives extra security and mobility. It actually stores lots of stuff for the compact size. The pink lining was a pleasant surprise.

Originally purchased to use on a 2 week traveling vacation throughout the northwest. Worked GREAT. Exceeded my expectations. Lots of compartments to hold everything I needed. Very durable & light weight. Great value for the money. Now use for everyday errands. Plan to purchase another one in different color.

This was my first purchase from Lillian Vernon, and I was so excited. I bought the tan purse (with light blue lining) mainly for travel purposes for my vacation to Mexico. I was looking for a great travel purse, and this far exceeded my expectations. The thickness and length of the strap was perfect. There are also pockets for everything: make-up, sunglasses, cell phone, credit card, pens, etc. I was unsure of how I felt about the middle pocket being opened (no zipper) but I actually really like it because it closes with magnets, and it's very useful for quickly grabbing out my car keys! This purse is amazing for travel because it's the perfect size. I was able to put my passport, id, and airplane ticket in the small zipper pocket in the front. I like this purse, and I kept talking about it to my husband so much that he told me to "leave him alone," haha! Anyway, this is a purse that everyone should have. I could also easily use it as an everyday purse and will probably order it in black. 5 Stars!!

I bought this bag for a long trip, and use it all the time now. I love the way it can expand to be wider if I need, and I love all of the pockets. It's super for travel and errands.

When I received the bag it come in a mid-sized box. I was really excepting a bag that was larger (considering the size of the box). It was way small. Really disappointing. needless to say the bag went back.

Helps me keep up with all the things I need to manage a large family. My cell phone, calendar, makeup, and sunglasses are easy to find, and I can always have my camera handy. Perfect for shopping (cross-body style keeps it secure) and pretty enough for church. I bought the practical black and love the pink lining. Just the right size for everyday! Just got back from a week long vacation in Paris. This bag was the best travel buddy I've ever had. It held everything I needed for a day of touring and I didn't need to take anything else. I can't believe how much 'stuff' I could cram into it and yet it was still secure enough for my passport, cash, and credit cards. It is the only bag you'll need for travelling.

The strap is too wide could be at least half the width-have many bags and like this one except for the strap. Also for lighter colors a matching strap would look better.

I use the bag mostly for weekend antiquing trips - where a big bag will swing off your shoulder and break something! This bag is also great for everyday - keeps me from putting too much stuff in it. I use one of the inner pockets for my cell phone - the strap is great - wide enough to be very comfortable and stay on my shoulder plus can put it across me for hands-free shopping. Love it. Am ordering another color too.

This purse is so close to what I wanted. I agree with the earlier poster - a zipper for the middle compartment would be nice. I'm also a bit disappointed that unzipping the bottom zipper doesn't give you that much extra room.

The biggest disappointment for me however, is that the purse has magnets on it. I avoid purchasing purses with magnets in them - in this day and age I'm surprised they're still being made. If the description had mentioned magnets I would not have ordered this. As it is I'm thinking about returning.

What a shame, it's so close to being an awesome purse.

Just recieved this and I love it already. Makes things easy to find and isn't so big I end up filling it with a bunch of junk I don't need. I like the fact that the strap is long enough I can put it across me and not just on my shoulder and so far my toddler hasn't figured out how to break into it :-)

My only very small complaint is that I wish it was just a tiny bit bigger. I had to switch to a smaller wallet for better fit in the bag.

I wanted a red pocketbook for travel. It is easily seen so not likely to be stolen. But when I tried to move into it, I discovered that the normal things I carry would not fit in this small bag.

Travel a lot. Used this one time and ordered another. Center section with magnet keeps tickets and ID close. Even holds medium size headset and player. Wish list - one in leather so that it looks a bit more professional once I get there.

YOU CAN'T BEAT THIS BAG TO USE ANYWHERE. JUST AS EASY TO USE FOR A QUICK TRIP TO THE STORE, OR LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL. PLENTY OF POCKETS TO HOLD JUST ABOUT ANYTHING. EASY IN, EASY OUT. I WOULD SAY THE SAME THING ABOUT THE MIDDLE COMPARTMENT, IT COULD BE BIGGER AND A ZIPPER ON TOP WOULD BE NICE. THEY DO HAVE A BOTTOM/SIDE ZIPPER THAT DOES OPEN IT UP ANOTHER INCH OR SO. A LITTLE MORE SPACE WOULD BE NICE.
THIS BAGS WORKS WONDERFUL AS YOUR MAIN BAG, OR CAN EASILY GO INTO A BACKPACK TO TRAVEL.

Everyone wants to know where I purchased this bag. I have recommended it to everyone. The only negative thing about it is the center compartment could be a little bit larger. Even opening the zipper, you have not much space. Great purchase!!!!
