Ok, just got this home today and already impressed right out of the package.

*Very strong ADJUSTABLE shoulder strap with swivel ring attachments.

*Large magnetic closure for closing in a hurry.

*Easy to get to cell pocket on the outside.

*Large enough for all the everyday items and more!!

**You can easily put a small umbrella, a diaper and travel wipe box inside the large opening.

*Mesh pocket inside + so many compartments in and out!

*Nice lining and see through pockets on the inside make it easy to find what you are searching for. (Since there is SO many pockets)

*And yes, the outside pocket will hold a drink bottle. Got to have the power of the DEW! A 20 ounce soft drink will fit in there nicely as long as the you unzip the pocket all the way.

I do think that you should have an option to view the purse inside and out and see all the pockets. Show what it has to offer.

I am a mom on the go with 3 kids. I usually have a diaper bag, my purse, the toy bag, trying to keep up with everyones coat...AAHHHH!!

I recently purchased this bag for my mother for Christmas. Lillian Vernon mkes it easy to order and personalize things online. [...] When my mom recieved her bag, she immediatly filled it with all her belongings from her old bag/purse. She can hold all her things plus things for my dad. (and Grandkids as well). She is really looking forward to using it. She especially likes the idea that it can be worn across the body style, since her sholders are rather small to hold purses the "regular" way. She loves the idea that it has an easy to reach area for cell phone and it can also hold water! Who knows if she is still pleased with it after a few months, I may just have to purchase one for me and possibly others....

I got this bag when my husband and I went away for the weekend, and it was all that I was looking for!!! I was able to store a lot of stuff, and it didn't even get too heavy. It is perfect to use with a little one because I can slip a diaper inside and a sippy cup in the water bottle space. Exactally what I was looking for. I use it everyday.

I use this purse every day and I'm picky and this has been incredible. My 86 year old neighbor bought it for me for Xmas and I have used is hard ever since. I even used it to carry my 35mm digitial slr camera to a wedding recently. It keeps things separate and yet carries so much in such a tiny bag. I can't believe it but i'm buying another one as I've used the first one so hard... Wow! just an incredible bag for such little $$$!!!!

I took this on a trip to Italy, along with the Travel Messenger bag, and I used both of them. I liked each one for their own qualities. I felt safe with this being a "hands-free" purse that I wore across my body. I only wish that the main compartment had a zipper. Also, the water bottle holder was too small. I couldn't find a bottle that would fit in it.

I used this great bag during a recent trip to Europe. It was perfect to use while traveling through airports. It had just enough compartments to hold my makeup (in a plastic bag), passports, maps and other small booklets. The water bottle holder and cell phone holder are perfect as well.
I really enjoyed using it and was really happy I decided to buy it. My husband even thought it came in handy!

I was a bit hesitant at first - I don't like buying things on line because I can't touch it but I read the reviews and bought it anyway. I absolutely love it. I like to have my hands free when I'm out with the kids so this is perfect. The water bottle pocket is great too. It's just a really nice bag that holds everything you need!

I bought this purse to use when I go shopping so I don't have to lug around a big purse. It is exactly what I wanted......the compartments are perfect and its big enough for your stuff but small enough to not slow you down. The material is very nice and looks expensive and should be easy to clean if it gets dirty. I chose this one over the others at Lillian Vernon because of the water bottle holder and it really is big enough to hold a bottle of water.......great bonus!!

This bag was great for my week long cruise. It easily held passports,boarding passes,medication,sunglasses,ipod,water and many other daily necessities. The only weakness is that the strap is too narrow and can get uncomfortable after a day of sightseeing. Also the strap falls out of adjustment too easily.

Bought the bag for a trip.It worked very well. Easy to use. Held my water and cell phone and was easy to access. Magnetic pouch/flap stayed closed. Never had a problem with it popping open. It was also very comfortable.

I have learned to put things in the zipper part but other than that it's PERFECT. I tried the other bag "travel messanger bag" it's too flimsy and the other one that looks like a backpack has TOO many pockets and I kept loosing everything and had to "dump things out to find what I needed"
this bag is awesome and traveling with it is soooooo much better than hving a regular purse. Water bottle holder is AWESOME?

I found the material too inflexible and the strap uncomfortable. The compartments, though numerous, were not big enough to hold anything of substance. My somewhat bulky wallet took up one whole compartment. I'm returning it.

After years of searching, and many inadequate "solutions", I have found the perfect companion for travel, shopping, and professional needs. Every TRUE necessity fits in its own perfect compartment - all of which are ADEQUATELY sized! - and there's still room for a small umbrella, if needed; a paperback novel, for travel and doctor's offices; or lunch! I bought 2 so when this one wears out, I won't be bereft! And a friend liked it so much, I sent one for her birthday.

Only one tiny complaint - the strap material is irritating against my neck - but with all the plusses, I really don't care!!

A few weeks ago I traveled to Florida, via airplane, with four kids under age 10. This bag was a lifesaver! I was able to easily access boarding passes and other ID without having to take my bag off. I also used it at Disney World and I was very grateful for the easy access water bottle holder on the outside. Also despite the bag looking quite small, I was pleased that I had a lot of space for my items. I could even fit my mini camcorder inside!

the thin nylon strap is very uncomfortable to wear for any length of time,it has a sharp edge. esp as you put any weight in the purse. a little too small as well.

I purchased this bag to use on a trip to WA DC chaperoning 13 year olds. I wanted something that would hold a water bottle, but also that was not a huge bag that would be too heavy for all the walking we would do. I was able to keep everything I needed in it. ID, money, snacks, toothpicks, bug spray, camera, sun tan lotion, pen, and paper. On the outside with a clip I attached my hat, a small fan, and on one day, a small umbrella! This bag was perfect! I will be using it again for a trip to Florida soon!

I took this bag through 3 weeks in Europe and never had any trouble finding my documents and always had room for everything I needed. The compartment for the water bottle was an added bonus and gave me a place to hold an extra water during the hot days in Europe.

I bought this bag for my mom. She likes it a lot and uses it for travel and for everyday. After using it for a while, she decided to try another bag and ended up regretting not using this bag for her trip. It is very handy since you can have a cell phone on one side and a water bottle on the other side and can access both without going in to the main compartment. Also, on the back of this bag is the compartment for ID and credit cards. This is safer than having it on the front and makes for easy access. There isn't a zipper on the main compartment; the flap is all that holds your things inside. Not good for small things if your bag gets turned upside down. The strap is very basic and utilitarian looking, but this makes it more unisex and it is clear in the photo. So not really a complaint, just a personal preference that the company would make a modified version that is more feminine. A good product. It is made by Travelon, so the quality is good [...]

I gave a friend this bag in black for Christmas and in March we went to New York City together. She used her bag and I was so jealous. As we shopped, I had my purse in one hand and a Coke in the other; my friend had both hands free, as this bag fit across her chest and held her bottle of Coke for her. The minute I got home, I ordered it in brown for myself, and it's gorgeous! I'm thinking about using it for everyday.
