This is the best. It's very easy to take along in ur purse.It's not real big getting ever thing wet after used.I love it and everyone i have given one to loves it. The best gift to give.

The first time I tried to open the umbrella it broke. It is not useful now and will be going into the garbage, but not in the case since it doesn't fit back into the case. Not worth the money to send back.

This is perfect for giving to kids for their back-packs (for 'just in case' weather). It is great for keeping in the glove box of the car for 'if you get caught' weather. Not HEAVY-DUTY' but then, it is NOT MEANT to be. It is a Practical item however.

I was disappointed that the case made the umbrella larger than "pocket size" but admittedly the ad say the umbrella is pocket size. It's just a bit bulkier than I imagined.

The umbrella opened and closed perfectly. However, it was difficult to return to the case and the case itself wouldn't shut tightly/properly when I put the umbrella back. If you just want a small umbrella, then this product will work fine. If however, you want the case for travelling, etc., I don't recommend this particular product. I returned my order of these.

Compact Umbrella

I thought this was a good way to deal with a wet umbrella but it doesn't fit easily back into the case. The fabric is very thin and the size of the umbrella when open is very small. I packed it up to ship it back but it would have cost me [$] to ship it back. So I kept it and I will donate it to some charity.

I've read the other reviews and I really didn't have any of those problems with my umbrella. It fits back in the case perfectly for me. It has great coverage and being able to place it back in the case eliminates a watery mess when going into a place of business. I think it's great.

I bought two (one for a friend). Hers opened much easier, but mine did not lock into place. I found it VERY hard to wrap it up small enough to fit back into the case. I'm looking into returning it. Seems too small when it is opened up.

This is THE handiest umbrella I've ever owned! It's so compact and trendy in its classy carrying case. Durable too, keeps you dry & protected- goes from pocket to use in seconds, no bulky heavy lugging. This item could get lost in your bag, not take up excess room! I love it & would get one in every color for myself as well as one for all my friends & family too!

Although the size is an excellent idea for travel, the product is not made well and somewhat "chinzy". Once taken out of its metal case, the umbrella did not fit back into it. I purchased two of the umbrellas as "bon voyage" gifts for my son and daughter-in-law who are leaving for Scotland After witnessing the poor quality of the product, I suggested they either send them back or, if decided to take them along, leave them there.

I haven't even opened the umbrella, but the first time I opened the plastic case, the latch broke, so now the case does not close. I like the size of the umbrella and the concept, but the case leaves much to be desired.
