Spring break is almost here, which means travel and vacation time for plenty of families. These spring break travel tips and packing list will keep your family happy and safe on your next vacation.
Sunscreen is a must, whether your trip takes you to a sunny destination or not. Pack a bottle of SPF 15 for each family member and apply it before heading out for the day.
2. Beach Towels
You don’t have to go to the beach to benefit from bringing along a big beach towel. They’re a must if you’re staying at a hotel with a pool or are going to a water park.
3. First Aid Kit
Bring along a first aid kit to be on the safe side. Include bandages, antibacterial cream and gauze in the kit, as well as your preferred pain reliever.
4. Zip Top Plastic Bags
Zip top plastic bags can be a blessing when you’re on the road. Use gallon size bags to hold dirty laundry or a pair of dirty sneakers. Smaller, quart-sized bags are a must if you’re flying and want to bring small bottles of liquid. Small bags are also great for keeping your phone and other valuables safe and free of sand if you’re on the beach.
5. Water Bottles
Pack some empty, reusable water bottles to save money on your trip. Fill the bottles up before you head out each day.
6. Flip Flops
Flip flops are inexpensive and easy to pack, since they’re so small. Bring along a pair for each person to wear in the shower, at the beach or at the pool.
It pays to be prepared, so bring an umbrella on your trip.
8. Packable Duffel Bag
Stash a foldable, small duffel bag in your suitcase. Use it to bring home any souvenirs or to keep dirty laundry separate.
