Yes, I guess I should have gotten a ruler out and measured it, but two years ago I ordered a backpack from LV (the pink and brown leapard print) and it was great! It was a normal backpack size like you would see in the Back to school area at [...], so I automatically assumed this one would be of normal size as well. This zebra striped backpack is not fit for a grade schooler. Folders barely fit and the matching lunch bag is way to small, also. What a waste of money. Now I need to buy another set. The case would not even stand alone because it was so top-heavy. Also, the opening of the case was not wide enough, so it was difficlut to pack and see everything in it. Unfortunately a couple of months in the zipper to the main compartment broke leaving it useless. Very happy however with customer service provided by Lillian Vernon. She was so excited about it because she was starting first grade and wanted something special. We are a month into school and the zippers on the main part of the bag pack are broken as well as the zipper for the small pocket where her name is located. If you looked at the bag pack you would think it is brand new considering we did just get it. Just poor quality and I haven't received anything from Lillian Vernon about making it right. [$] isn't cheap to spend on a bag pack for a months use. Pros

We bought the leopard set for my daughter last year. The quality was great. They held up all year and they really took a beating. I expected more from Lillian Vernon. I wish I could return it, but both pieces are personalized. I'm tempted to just donate these to charity and find something else.

The case may be a little big for school but it is just fine for my daughter because she is a tall girl; however, I was very disappointed when I saw the material with which this product was made, it feels very light and does not seem like it will last long. The material makes the product look cheap. The quality definitely does not appear to match the price. We will see about the durability.

Good thing I didn't buy just this one bag because her clothes for three days bearly fit.(shorts and tanks top don't take up much room in a girls size 8). I love the bag I just wish it was BIGGER!
