Wooden Multicolor Blocks
Set of 100 vibrant building blocks in a super assortment of shapes and sizes lets kids create everything from cottages to castles. Natural wood with silkscreened designs. Sizes range from 1/2" x 1 1/8" to 3 1/2" x 1 1/2". All store in 7 1/2" x 11" pressed cardboard container with a plastic lid that's cut out for shape-sorting fun. Ages 3+.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Wooden Multicolor Blocks: I really like the way these blocks look, the colors and shapes are very cool, and I like that there's a shaper sorter lid. The main reason I chose this set is one of the reviews here said they were made in Germany. They are not, in very small letters on the canister it says made in China. I don't like that it doesn't say what kind of paint is used.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Wooden Multicolor Blocks: I have a 2yr old and a 13yr old. they play together with these allll the time. the colours don't chip no matter how hard they are knocked about, and since they are made in Germany (which has higher quality control standards the U.S.) rather then china, I don't have to worry my kid is going to grow a third arm because he put them in his mouth. yea, SOME, as in perhaps 4, of the blocks MIGHT be small enough to choke on if your toddler is truly determined to do so, but all you have to do is remove those few from the set and its allll OK. oh, and the container itself is not only sturdy (it's been a hat more then a few times) but has a nifty shape sorter on the lid which makes it the ONLY toy my 2 yr old ENJOYS putting away.

I would return.
