Although we are planning to we haven't mounted the frame as of yet. It isn't necessary though because it comes with hardware so that it can set on a desk or a counter -that was a nice surprise. It can stand horizontal or vertically also which is great. It holds all of my 3 year olds 8 x 10 drawings and coloring book pages that i can't bear to part with instead of using the refrigerator or having them scattered. They actually look better in the frame too!
