My husband actually uses these tools too (because he can never find his). The plastic tabs that hold it closed have since broken off, but I keep it tied together with a string. I use the hammer, pliers and screwdrivers the most. This is just perfect for those little jobs around the house. Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink Toolset: I love this little toolbox! I've had it now for about 3 or 4 years and it's perfect. Even when I was married, my husband would use the tools for quick jobs instead of going out to the garage to hunt through his big toolbox. Every time I need to hang a picture, measure something, or change batteries with a screwdriver, this is the one thing that I go to! It's very handy and so small it fits in many places - hall closet, even a drawer if you have an extra. I definitely recommend! Pros

Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink Toolset: I've purchased 3 of these now (back when they used to sell them in blue, I'm not a pink person). 1 for me and 1 each for my mom and daughter. My daughter loves the pink. I have used this like crazy. I love it. It's got everything you could possibly need all in one place. Comments about Lillian Vernon Pink Toolset: I received this as a gift a few years ago and loved it, however...The scissors are not well made, and the metal piece that keeps the tape from going all the way in on the tape measure broke within the first year. Theses are not tools you will use for heavy construction. My husband used the claw part of the hammer on something strong and the hammer bent practically in half, I was mad--but at him, not the hammer. It worked fine for, as one reviewer put it, "hanging pictures and curtains". I still have the pliers, screwdrivers, and utility knife and despite the lack of strength I would buy it for myself or as a gift and use it for what I would normally do around the house.

It's cute, but after the second use, the utility knife fell apart in my hand and the measuring tape (the actual tape part) just broke in two. Yes it just split apart. I called to complain but was told that after 30 days after purchasing anything from Lillian Vernon, no refunds.
