Comments about Lillian Vernon Kids' Lavender & Purple Pilot Case:

My children both have these bags. My 12 year old got his when he was 3. It is still in good shape. Unfortunately, it is getting to small for his bigger clothes. But he has used it for years. My daughter loves being able to wheel it around for herself in the airports. It is so cute that they can do it themselves. I am now going to buy two more for my niece and nephew.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Kids' Lavender & Purple Pilot Case:

While my girls (now 6 and 8) have enjoyed their luggage for 2 years now, suggesting that they are of good quality and fun for the kids, the big frustration for me is that the bags do not open all the way up. To access something that's not on the top, you have to remove everything above it. Not only is this a hassle, but packing it is complicated as you cannot lay something across the length of the suitcase. You have to put it in first and then try to place clothing around it. A very poor use of space.

Comments about Lillian Vernon Kids' Lavender & Purple Pilot Case:

i couldn't tell from the picture, but this "suitcase" is more like a backpack on wheels. It doesn't open all of the way, like a suitcase would. It opens more like a backpack-- zipper only goes down half way on both sides, so you have to load it and unload it like a packback. [...]

these suitcases were beautiful and the name on them is great. the one drawback is the handle is very fragile, and can not be handled rough by a child.
ours lasted about 6 months of use then both broke, for the price it am not sure if this is worth the price, you will have to decide
